Young Lions

As the 2017 Digital Young Lions winner, I represented Australia at Cannes.

The brief from the Murdoch Children’s Research Institute wanted a fresh new way to raise money for child illness.

It’s hard for young kids to understand what is happening to their bodies when they suffer from a serious illness. So we created a personalized children’s book where parents could insert their own child into the story to help them understand their sickness.

Using data and research, we would take a handful of the most common illnesses kids experience and create templates for stories. Then a parent could create an avatar resembling their child and insert them into the relevant story. You would be able to download this in an e-book, or a hard cover version. All proceeds go towards the MCRI.
